We have now installed a bleed kit across from the Defib kit on Murroch Cres at the top of the estate.
#controlthebleed
After a major injury or trauma, it is critical to Control The Bleed until the Ambulance Service can take over and help the patient. In most cases, the Ambulance will not arrive before the patient has lost a critical amount of blood, it is therefore essential the public intervene to Control The Bleed. In doing so could save a life. None of the medical devices in the Emergency Bleed Control Kit require training to use and the 999 Operator will be able to talk the user through the process. Instructions are also included inside the cabinet.

Beechwood and Wheatcroft Estate is a private housing estate on the hillside at the south end of Bonhill. Development on the hill started in the late 1970's, but mostly dates from the 1980's. Unlike its near neighbours on the hill, it has street names - Beechwood Drive, Murroch Crescent (after the nearby Murroch Glen), and Broomhill Cres (after the adjacent Broomhill Wood).
Located in Leven Ward of West Dunbartonshire District, Scotland
